Requires law enforcement officers to announce their identity and purpose and wait a reasonable period of time before forcibly entering a house or building during search warrant execution, unless exceptions apply.

Permits no-knock entry without announcement if the officer has reasonable cause to believe imminent danger exists, an occupant is aware of law enforcement presence, or announcing would inhibit the investigation.

Requires law enforcement officers seeking no-knock authorization to include in the warrant affidavit a list of known occupants, notation of potential disabilities, and any pets present at the location.

Limits no-knock entries authorized under subsection (4) to between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. unless a different time period is specifically requested and authorized in the warrant.

Requires law enforcement officers conducting forcible entry during warrant execution to wear uniforms or be clearly identifiable as law enforcement officers and defines "reasonable period of time" based on totality of circumstances.
