Amends the definition of "involuntary statement" under 2006 PA 563 to clarify that it does not include statements where a law enforcement officer knowingly and intentionally provides false or misleading information under compulsion.

Maintains the existing definition that an involuntary statement is information compelled from a law enforcement officer under threat of dismissal or other employment sanction by their employing agency.

Applies to law enforcement officers trained and licensed under the Michigan Commission on Law Enforcement Standards Act, local corrections officers, and emergency dispatch workers employed by law enforcement agencies.

Takes effect 90 days after enactment into law.
