Removes age and annual benefit limits on autism spectrum disorder coverage, eliminating previous caps of $50,000 for ages 0-6, $40,000 for ages 7-12, and $30,000 for ages 13-18.

Prohibits insurers from terminating coverage, refusing to issue or renew policies, or limiting visits for treatment of autism spectrum disorders.

Requires coverage for diagnosis and evidence-based treatment of autism spectrum disorders including behavioral health treatment, pharmacy care, psychiatric care, psychological care, and therapeutic care.

Prohibits insurers from denying coverage based on treatment being educational or habilitative in nature, or from applying higher dollar limits, copays, deductibles, or coinsurance than for physical illness.

Allows insurers to require treatment reviews, request diagnostic observation schedules (no more than once every 3 years), and require annual developmental evaluations as conditions for providing coverage.
