Prohibits individuals convicted of misdemeanor domestic violence from possessing, using, transporting, selling, purchasing, carrying, shipping, receiving, or distributing firearms or ammunition for the period specified in MCL 750.224f.

Requires defendants to surrender all firearms and concealed pistol licenses within 24 hours of sentencing or release from imprisonment to a designated law enforcement agency or licensed firearm dealer.

Mandates defendants file a certificate with the court within 24 hours of sentencing stating under penalty of perjury whether they own or control any firearms and whether they have surrendered them as required.

Authorizes courts to schedule a hearing within 5 days of sentencing and issue search warrants to seize firearms and licenses if defendants fail to surrender them, with criminal penalties of up to 93 days imprisonment and $500 fine for failure to appear.

Allows defendants to reclaim surrendered firearms after the prohibition period expires, unless prohibited for other reasons, with law enforcement conducting background checks before release; unclaimed firearms may be disposed of after 90 days.
