Amends Michigan's firearms licensing law (1927 PA 372) to modify procedures for disposing of forfeited firearms held by the state police.

Requires the director of the Department of State Police to destroy all forfeited firearms and ensure all parts are destroyed, rather than allowing sale.

Mandates a 30-day written notice period to the original owner if the firearm was reported lost or stolen and the owner can be identified, allowing the owner to claim it if authorized to possess it.

Requires a second 30-day public notice on the Department of State Police website describing the firearm and its serial number, allowing the authorized owner to claim it within this additional period.

Grants the Department of State Police civil immunity for disposing of firearms in compliance with these procedures.
