Amends the insurance code to specify that physical therapy services are covered under personal protection insurance only when provided by licensed physical therapists or physical therapist assistants under proper supervision and prescription.

Expands the definition of qualifying prescribers to include advanced practice registered nurses (as defined in MCL 333.17201) in addition to existing licensed healthcare professionals.

Maintains existing exemptions for optometry services not included in the definition as of May 20, 1992, and chiropractic services rendered before July 2, 2021 not included in the definition as of January 1, 2009.

Requires physical therapy services to be provided under prescription from either an advanced practice registered nurse or a health care professional holding a license under specified parts of the public health code (parts 166, 170, 175, or 180) or an equivalent license from another state.
