Declares June 2024 as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer (LGBTQ+) Pride Month in Michigan.

Acknowledges Pride's origins in the 1970 one-year anniversary of the 1969 Stonewall Riots, led by Black and Brown trans women activists including Marsha P. Johnson and Sylvia Rivera.

Recognizes major legal victories including the 2015 Obergefell v. Hodges marriage equality decision, 2020 Bostock v. Clayton County employment protections, and Michigan's 2023 Public Act 6 adding sexual orientation and gender identity to the Elliott-Larsen Civil Rights Act.

Affirms that the LGBTQ+ community continues to face harassment and violence, particularly trans women of color, while contributing significantly to Michigan's cultural, civic, and economic vitality.

Commits Michigan to creating a fair, safe, and equitable state that welcomes and protects all individuals regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity.
