Increases maximum weekly unemployment benefit rate from $362.00 to $446.00 for claims filed on or after January 1, 2025, with dependent allowances increasing to $12.66 per dependent.

Establishes phased increases in maximum weekly benefit rates: $530.00 maximum (with $19.33 per dependent) effective January 1, 2026, and $614.00 maximum (with $26.00 per dependent) effective January 1, 2027.

Beginning January 1, 2028, directs annual adjustments to dependent allowance amounts and maximum weekly benefit rates based on cumulative changes in the Consumer Price Index.

Extends maximum benefit weeks from 20-26 weeks to a new standard of 14-26 weeks for eligible individuals filing initial claims after the effective date of this amendment.

Effective date is 91 days after final adjournment of the 2024 Regular Session; signed into law December 23, 2024.
