Replaces references to "pistol" with "firearm" throughout sections 223 and 232a of the Michigan penal code to expand the scope of firearm regulations.

Maintains existing penalties for selling firearms without proper licensing under 1927 PA 372: misdemeanor punishable by up to 90 days imprisonment or $100 fine.

Maintains penalties for selling firearms over 26 inches in length to persons under 18: misdemeanor punishable by up to 90 days or $500 fine for first offense; felony punishable by up to 4 years or $2,000 fine for subsequent offenses.

Maintains felony penalties for selling firearms to prohibited persons (those under felony indictment or prohibited by section 224f): punishable by up to 10 years imprisonment or $5,000 fine.

Removes the definition of "licensed dealer" from section 223 and clarifies statutory references to 1927 PA 372; takes effect only if Senate Bill 76 is enacted.
