MI SB0111

Amends MCL 777.13k (sentencing guidelines in the Code of Criminal Procedure) to add new felonies enumerated in Chapter 333 of the Michigan Compiled Laws to the sentencing guidelines framework.

Adds MCL 333.1073(2) (failure to render immediate medical care to newborn if abortion results in live birth) as a Class F felony with a 4-year statutory maximum sentence.

Adds five existing medical-related felonies to the guidelines: unauthorized fetal/embryo research, research on dead embryos without consent, abortion to obtain fetus/embryo, sale/delivery of fetus/embryo, and financial benefit from fetus/embryo access or transfer (all Class E felonies with 5-year maximums).

Adds three public trust offenses to the guidelines: unauthorized disclosure of social security number (Class F, 4 years), disclosure of confidential abortion information (Class G, 3 years), and failure to report discovery of dead body (Class E, 5 years).

Takes effect 90 days after enactment and is conditioned upon passage of Senate Bill 110.
