Allows eligible corrections officers, conservation officers, and state police personnel employed before October 1, 2024 to elect irrevocably between January 2 and June 6, 2025 to terminate Tier 2 state employee retirement participation and transfer to the Michigan State Police Retirement System, with the transfer effective June 7, 2025.

Permits transferring employees to move their Tier 2 contributions and vested employer contributions to the State Police Retirement System to purchase service credit, subject to applicable vesting schedules.

Requires spousal written consent for elections unless the retirement board waives this requirement due to extenuating circumstances, and makes all elections subject to the Eligible Domestic Relations Order Act.

Specifies that eligible corrections positions include corrections officers, resident representatives, transportation officers, medical officers, and wardens of various classifications, while conservation officers and state police motor carrier/properties securities officers in similar circumstances also qualify for the election.

Excludes from eligibility employees first hired after September 30, 2024, those meeting certain criteria under section 55(2)(b) or (d), and former qualified participants reemployed after September 30, 2024.
