Prohibits landlords from denying tenancy or discriminating against prospective or current tenants based on source of income, including distinguishing in price, terms, conditions, fees, or privileges related to rental occupancy.

Prevents landlords from misrepresenting unit availability, refusing inspections, discouraging rentals, or publishing advertisements indicating preferences or limitations based on source of income.

Requires landlords to count rent vouchers or subsidies when calculating whether prospective or current tenants meet income thresholds, except for emergency rental assistance.

Exempts landlords with fewer than 5 rental units in Michigan from these prohibitions, including all related entities under common control.

Effective only if Senate Bill No. 206 and House Bill No. 4062 of the 102nd Legislature are also enacted into law.
