Adds violation of the Motor Vehicle Financial Protection Products Act (2009 PA 229, MCL 492.21 to 492.34) as an unfair or deceptive practice under the Michigan Consumer Protection Act.

Replaces gender-specific pronouns ("he or she," "his or her") with gender-neutral language ("the person," "the consumer's") throughout the consumer protection statute.

Makes technical correction to subdivision (hh)(v) by adding a comma after "administer" in language regarding Social Security number disclosures for electronic consumer transactions.

Changes language in subdivision (u) from "the person or persons" to "any person" regarding refund obligations when consumer transactions are rescinded or canceled.

Takes effect only upon enactment of Senate Bill No. 343 of the 102nd Legislature.
