Amends the Child Protection Law (1975 PA 238) to modify sections 7, 7b, and 7k regarding child fatality reviews and notification procedures.

Establishes that each county may have a standing child fatality review team with required membership including a county medical examiner, law enforcement representative, department representative, county prosecutor, health department representative, and local court representative.

Requires the department to establish a multiagency advisory committee to identify policy and statutory recommendations regarding child fatalities and guide prevention and training efforts statewide.

Mandates the department notify within 1 business day the relevant court, state legislators, and child advocate when a child under court jurisdiction dies, and to notify the child advocate within 1 business day if a child dies during an active child protective services investigation, after a prior complaint, or from suspected abuse or neglect.

Creates a public registry of statistical information on children's deaths that excludes identifying information and tracks deaths under court jurisdiction, deaths following prior complaints, and child protective services dispositions.
