Amends the definition of "cemetery" under the Cemetery Regulation Act to exclude crematories that are directly or indirectly owned, managed, operated, or maintained by persons owning funeral establishments, as allowed under MCL 339.1809c.

Changes terminology throughout the statute from "persons" to "individuals" and updates grammatical language (e.g., "the body of the deceased person" to "a deceased individual's body").

Reorganizes the definition of "endowment and perpetual care" into a numbered list format while maintaining the same substantive requirements for cemetery maintenance.

Updates references to the Department of Labor and Economic Growth to the Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs.

Contains an enacting clause conditioning the amendment's effectiveness on the passage of Senate Bill No. 444 of the 102nd Legislature.
