Adds Section 108b to the Michigan Public Assistance Act requiring the Department of Health and Human Services to establish focused policies and rules for complex rehabilitation technology products and services.

Designates specific HCPCS billing codes for complex rehabilitation technology and requires providers to be qualified complex rehabilitation technology suppliers or department-approved entities.

Requires complex needs patients receiving complex rehabilitation manual wheelchairs, power wheelchairs, or seating components to be evaluated by qualified health care professionals and qualified complex rehabilitation technology professionals.

Mandates payment policies and rates adequate to provide access to complex rehabilitation technology, exempts related HCPCS codes from bidding or selective contracting initiatives, and requires managed care Medicaid plans to adopt these regulations.

Effective only if Senate Bill No. 450 of the 102nd Legislature is enacted into law; took effect July 23, 2024.
