Amends Michigan's Public Health Code regarding medical waste containment requirements for producing facilities that do not incinerate medical waste on site

Requires facilities to package, contain, and separate medical waste categories at point of origin into labeled containers with biohazard symbols or "medical waste"/"pathological waste" text at least 1 inch high

Prohibits compacting or mixing medical waste with other materials before decontamination and disposal; decontaminated medical waste mixed with solid waste must be clearly labeled

Establishes 90-day maximum storage limit for medical waste on facility premises, with exception allowing sharps containers to be stored up to 18 months if filled to no more than 3/4 capacity

Requires medical waste stored outside the facility to be in a secured or locked container weighing over 500 pounds to prevent access by vermin or unauthorized individuals
