Prohibits counties from enacting, enforcing, or maintaining laws, ordinances, policies, or rules that limit or prohibit peace officers or local officials from communicating or cooperating with federal officials regarding individuals' immigration status.

Requires counties with existing sanctuary policies to bring them into compliance within 60 days of the act's effective date; any non-compliant policies are declared void and unenforceable.

Allows county residents to bring civil actions in circuit court or file complaints with the attorney general to enforce the act beginning 61 days after the effective date.

Authorizes the attorney general to investigate complaints and bring enforcement actions in circuit court if counties violate the act.

Provides court remedies including injunctions against enforcement, orders to amend or repeal violating policies, and awards of actual damages, costs, and reasonable attorney fees to the prevailing party.
