Prohibits firearm possession at the Michigan State Capitol Building, Anderson House Office Building, and Binsfeld Senate Office Building, with limited exceptions for security personnel and peace officers

Allows licensed concealed pistol carriers to carry firearms in state legislative buildings only while serving as a member of the Michigan House of Representatives or Michigan Senate

Excludes parking areas from the firearm prohibition for state buildings

Maintains existing firearm prohibitions at banks, churches, courts, theaters, sports arenas, day care centers, hospitals, and liquor-licensed establishments with the same exemptions for security personnel, peace officers, and licensed carriers with owner permission

Updates the reference to the Michigan Liquor Control Code from the 1933 act to the 1998 PA 58 version
