Allows telephone corporations organized under the 1883 Telephone Act to convert into domestic limited liability companies under the Michigan Limited Liability Company Act of 1993.

Does not affect existing prohibitions on the application of the business corporation act to insurance companies, surety companies, savings and loan associations, fraternal benefit societies, and banking corporations.

Takes effect only if Senate Bills 982 and 983 of the 102nd Legislature are also enacted into law.

Effective December 23, 2024.
