Amends the Bullard-Plawecki employee right to know act to update references to law enforcement officer service records, specifically citing the law enforcement officer records act, 2017 PA 128.

Modifies Section 7 to allow release of personnel records without the 4-year deletion requirement when records are part of a law enforcement officer separation of service record or a provisional service record under the 2017 law.

Modifies Section 9 to permit criminal justice agencies to release investigative file information to prospective employing law enforcement agencies when the information relates to a separation of service record or provisional service record under the 2017 law.

Takes effect only if Senate Bill No. 1097 of the 102nd Legislature is enacted into law.
