Bill Summary: SB 1150

• Amends MCL 777.11b to add manufacturing, assembling, importing, selling, possessing, etc. of a firearm or frame or receiver without a serial number as a second or subsequent offense to Michigan's sentencing guidelines with Class E felony classification and 5-year statutory maximum penalty.

• Updates the sentencing guidelines table in Chapter XVII of the Code of Criminal Procedure to include firearm-related offenses related to unserialized firearms (ghost guns).

• Takes effect only if Senate Bill No. 1149 of the 102nd Legislature is enacted into law (tie-bar provision).

• Applies to specific felonies enumerated in Chapter 28 of the Michigan Compiled Laws as part of the state's sentencing framework.
