Amends MCL 600.6431 to add an exception to the court of claims notice requirement for claims to which section 5851b applies (criminal sexual conduct civil actions)

Modifies subsection (5) to specify that the one-year filing deadline and other notice requirements do not apply to either wrongful imprisonment compensation claims under 2016 PA 343 or claims covered by section 5851b

Applies retroactively to actions pending on the effective date and to actions brought under section 5851b(4) of the revised judicature act

Becomes effective only if Senate Bill No. 1187 of the 102nd Legislature is enacted into law (tie-bar provision)
