Recognizes April 2024 as County Government Month in Michigan to highlight the important work of counties across the state and nation.

Acknowledges county government services including mental health and substance use disorder treatment, child welfare, courts, justice programming, vital records, disaster preparedness, law enforcement, and election administration.

Recognizes additional county services such as parks and recreation, senior services, medical facilities, drainage systems, and infrastructure maintenance.

Establishes 2024 County Government Month theme as "Forward Together" with three pillars: Connect, Inspire, and Lead.

Notes that counties have actively promoted their programs and services to the public annually since 1991.
