Requires all public educational institutions in Michigan to designate multiple-occupancy restrooms, locker rooms, changing rooms, and shower rooms for use based on students' biological sex as listed on their original birth certificate

Defines "educational institution" broadly to include public K-12 schools, colleges, universities, vocational schools, and any educational institution receiving state funds

Provides exceptions allowing individuals to enter opposite-sex facilities for custodial/maintenance purposes (when empty), medical emergencies, assisting students with disabilities (if area is cleared), or accompanying a minor child

Permits educational institutions to allow single-occupancy restrooms or changing areas to be used by individuals of either sex

Would be cited as the "Student Restroom Privacy Act"
