Increases the number of parcels allowed from land division for the first 10 acres from 4 parcels to 10 parcels, with a one-year transition period after the bill's effective date

Authorizes municipalities and counties to adopt ordinances allowing land to be partitioned or split into more parcels than otherwise permitted under state law

Maintains existing rules allowing 1 additional parcel for each whole 10 acres beyond the first 10 acres (up to 11 additional parcels) and 1 additional parcel for each whole 40 acres beyond 120 acres

Parcels created under local ordinances permitting additional divisions cannot be further split without meeting platting requirements, except through the 10-year waiting period provision or another qualifying local ordinance

Preserves the exemption for 40-acre or larger parcels from counting toward division limits if the parcel is accessible
