Appropriates $20,000,000 from the state general fund to create the Mothering Justice Small Business Assistance Fund within the Department of Treasury for fiscal year ending September 30, 2025

Provides grants of up to $20,000 per small business (defined as independently owned, for-profit businesses with 25 or fewer employees) to offset costs from the Michigan Supreme Court's Mothering Justice v Attorney General decision

Requires small businesses to submit payroll and employee attendance records for the previous 2 years to qualify for distributions

Allocates up to $100,000 for the Department of Treasury's administrative expenses in implementing the program

Designates unspent funds as a work project appropriation that will not lapse, allowing expenditures until September 30, 2029 to help businesses adjust to minimum wage increases and paid sick leave requirements
