Increases annual gross sales limits for cottage food operations from $25,000 to $50,000, or up to $75,000 for operations selling products priced at $250 or more per unit, effective until October 1, 2026

Requires the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to adjust gross sales limits annually beginning October 1, 2026 based on the Detroit Consumer Price Index inflation adjustment factor

Allows cottage food products to be sold via internet, mail order, or third-party food delivery platforms if the consumer has a direct interaction (face-to-face or virtual meeting) with the operation before purchase, with sales limited to Michigan consumers

Creates an optional registration program through the MSU Product Center for cottage food operations, with a one-time fee of up to $50, allowing registered operations to use a registration number on labels instead of a physical address

Exempts cottage food operation registration information from disclosure under Michigan's Freedom of Information Act
