Prohibits Michigan counties from enacting or enforcing any law, ordinance, policy, or rule that limits peace officers or local officials from communicating or cooperating with federal officials regarding individuals' immigration status

Requires counties with existing policies that violate this act to come into compliance within 60 days of the act's effective date

Allows county residents to file lawsuits in circuit court or complaints with the attorney general beginning 61 days after the act takes effect if their county violates the provisions

Mandates the attorney general to bring enforcement actions against non-compliant counties and requires counties to cooperate with attorney general investigations

Courts finding a violation must issue an injunction, order the county to amend or repeal the policy, and award actual damages, costs, and attorney fees to the challenging party; prevailing counties are entitled to costs and attorney fees
