Changes the start date for township officers' terms from November 20 to December 1 at 12 noon following their election, effective for officers elected after December 31, 2024

Officers elected before January 1, 2025 continue to have terms commence on November 20 following their election

Township officers must qualify before assuming office and may hold office until a successor is elected and qualified, but not beyond January 1 following the election

Prohibits individuals elected to fill a vacancy from taking the oath of office until election results have been certified by the appropriate board of canvassers

Maintains the 4-year term of office for all township officers listed in section 358, with vacancies filled by township board appointment for the remainder of the unexpired term
