Maintains exemptions from the pheasant license for hunters on private land, licensed game bird preserves, public land in the Upper Peninsula, and holders of lifetime small game, sportsperson's, or comprehensive hunting/fishing licenses

Continues directing pheasant license fees to the pheasant subaccount within the game and fish protection account, which funds the purchase and release of live pheasants on state-owned land

Takes immediate effect upon approval (December 23, 2025)
