Requires telemedicine examinations to maintain the same standard of care as in-person evaluations

Mandates compliance with the federal Fairness to Contact Lens Consumers Act (15 USC 7601-7610) and the FTC Eyeglass Rule (16 CFR part 456) for licensees and sellers of contact lenses and spectacles

Clarifies that initial contact lens prescriptions require determining satisfactory fit based on physiological compatibility and physical fit on the patient's eye
