Allows disabled veterans to request a "DV" or "Disabled Veteran" adhesive tab to attach to their existing military service or conflict registration plates, as an alternative to obtaining a separate disabled veteran plate

Service or conflict plates eligible for the disabled veteran tab include those issued for specific military service (such as Korean War, Vietnam War, or Persian Gulf veterans) or any plate requiring proof of Armed Forces membership

Extends all existing disabled veteran plate benefits to those with the tab option, including tax exemptions for totally disabled veterans and no service fees for applications or renewals

Permits surviving spouses of disabled veterans to continue using either the special disabled veteran plate or the service/conflict plate with tab after the veteran's death

Allows disabled veterans with the tab to also receive a wheelchair symbol tab for persons with disabilities on their service or conflict plate if they qualify
