Requires each Michigan Works agency, in collaboration with the Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity, to create teams providing reemployment and unemployment services specifically for dislocated federal employees and veterans

Defines "dislocated federal employee" as a Michigan resident who involuntarily lost their federal government job for reasons beyond their control between January 20, 2025 and January 20, 2027

Mandates services including analysis of comparable public employer jobs, assessment of transferable skills, employment referrals to understaffed public and private-sector employers, and assistance filing for unemployment benefits

Requires all state departments and agencies to cooperate with the Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity and Michigan Works agencies to identify eligible dislocated federal employees and veterans

Applies to public employers including the state, local governments, school districts, community colleges, and public universities that elect to participate
