School districts may now use bond proceeds for purchasing technology equipment and reequipping buildings for technology, removing previous restrictions that prohibited bonds for technology equipping/reequipping

Expands the definition of "technology" to include hardware, software, cloud-hosted software as a service, software licenses, cybersecurity, physical security systems, building systems management, and voice communication software

Allows bond funding for technology-related consulting services, software support, warranties, and cybersecurity consulting

Prohibits bond proceeds from being used for consumables (ink, toner, batteries, storage media), repairs outside initial warranty periods, and curriculum-specific software or related training

Removes previous prohibitions on using bonds for operating system upgrades, application software upgrades, and maintenance/service contracts for technology
