Prohibits businesses from charging cancellation fees at the end of contract terms, free trial periods, or renewal periods, and requires honoring all timely cancellation requests

Requires businesses to provide an easy-to-use cancellation mechanism, such as a dedicated website option or toll-free phone number, with prompt cancellation confirmation

Exempts insurance-regulated entities, service contracts under the insurance code, contracts cancelable for pro rata refunds, and telephone/wireless/broadband services regulated by the Michigan Public Service Commission
