Creates a new licensure category for certified anesthesiologist assistants (C.A.A.) under Michigan's Public Health Code, allowing them to practice beginning 90 days after rules are promulgated

Requires C.A.A. licensure applicants to complete a graduate-level training program, pass a certifying examination accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs, and complete an advanced cardiac life-support course

Permits certified anesthesiologist assistants to perform anesthesia-related functions including airway management, administering anesthetic drugs, performing regional anesthesia, and participating in cardiopulmonary resuscitation under anesthesiologist supervision

Limits supervising anesthesiologists to overseeing no more than 4 certified anesthesiologist assistants concurrently and requires them to remain in physical proximity to address urgent patient needs

Establishes licensing fees of $75 for application processing, $60 per year for license, and $25 for educational limited license, with title restrictions on "certified anesthesiologist assistant" and "C.A.A." effective August 1, 2026
