Mandates a public internet auction within 180 days for surplus land declared under the new 50% cap, with the highest bid accepted regardless of amount

Land receiving no bids at auction automatically transfers by operation of law to the county where located, which cannot convey it back to the state

Exempts from the 50% limitation land acquired using certain federal funds (Pittman-Robertson, Dingell-Johnson acts) or proceeds from the Michigan Natural Resources Trust Fund and Game and Fish Protection Trust Fund
