Requires school districts, intermediate school districts, and public school academies to adopt policies by July 1, 2026 allowing students with prescriptions from private health care specialists to receive medically necessary treatment in school settings

Mandates that schools notify parents of federal rights under Section 504 and the Americans with Disabilities Act for students to access medically necessary treatment for disabling medical conditions

Requires schools to meet with students, parents, and designated health care personnel within 30 days of a treatment request to determine accommodations, with denials only permitted for fundamental alteration or undue burden

Policies must address how private health care specialists can observe students in school, collaborate with school personnel, and provide treatment directly in school settings

Schools must annually report to the Department of Education by July 1 (starting 2027) the number of treatment requests and approval/denial outcomes, which the department must publish online and report to legislative education committees by January 1
