Requires the director to convene a meeting with the commission within 90 days of the act's effective date to recommend modifications to the state construction code allowing triplexes, quadplexes, 5-plexes, and 6-plexes in residential structures

Recommendations must address adequate water supply availability, presence and response time of professional fire departments, and other provisions necessary for public health, safety, and general welfare

Commission must provide its recommendations to the director within 90 days of the initial meeting

Director must adopt or amend rules or codes as necessary for implementation by January 1, 2027
