Limits renewal terms for limited licenses: marriage and family therapists and social workers may renew for 1 additional 3-year term; limited licensed counselors may renew for 3 additional 3-year terms; temporary psychology licenses vary by degree level

Creates a hardship tolling process allowing limited licensed counselors and temporary licensed psychologists to pause their license cycle for up to 1 year total, with a maximum of 3 approved requests per license cycle

Requires hardship applicants to document the nature of the hardship, supervised hours completed, employer information, examination attempts, and measures taken to remedy the situation

Mandates the department to promulgate rules implementing these changes within 5 years of the act's effective date, in consultation with the relevant licensing boards
