Prohibits Michigan governmental entities from accepting central bank digital currency (CBDC) as legal tender or requiring it for taxes, fees, licenses, permits, or other payments

Defines CBDC as digital currency issued by the Federal Reserve, federal or state agencies, foreign governments, or foreign central banks that is directly available to consumers and processed by those entities

Bars governmental entities from advocating for or supporting the testing, adoption, or implementation of a CBDC by the U.S. government

Allows individuals who suffer losses from violations to bring civil actions against the governmental entity

Courts must award prevailing plaintiffs triple their actual damages (treble damages)
