Allows unpasteurized (raw) milk and milk products to be sold directly to consumers by "direct farm-to-consumer producers" or their designated agents who comply with food law requirements

Exempts direct farm-to-consumer producers from the Grade A milk licensing requirements if they meet specified food law standards

Creates an exception to the existing requirement that only pasteurized milk products can be sold to final consumers, restaurants, grocery stores, or similar establishments

Requires unpasteurized milk products sold under this exemption to comply with manufacturing milk law standards (MCL 288.630a)

Legislation is contingent on passage of House Bills 5218 and 5219, which would establish the regulatory framework for raw milk sales
