Reduces continuing education requirements for physicians (MD) and osteopathic physicians (DO) from 150 hours to 75 hours per 3-year renewal cycle

Requires licensing boards to review continuing education subject requirements every 5 years starting January 1, 2027, and limits new required subjects to those justified by public health emergencies, relevant across all specialties, or addressing urgent public health issues

Establishes new procedure for continuing education violations giving licensees 60 days to provide proof of completion after receiving a notice letter, with automatic dismissal if proof is provided regardless of whether education was completed on time

Sets maximum fines for continuing education violations at $250 for 25 hours or less missed and $500 for more than 25 hours missed
