Amends Michigan's Revised Judicature Act of 1961 to exempt transactions conducted under an earned wage access services license from garnishment of periodic payments provisions.

Updates outdated language throughout section 4012, replacing terms like "funds" with "money," "pursuant to" with "in accordance with," and "within" with "not later than."

Maintains existing garnishment priorities where child support income withholding orders and state/local tax levies take precedence over other garnishments regardless of timing.

Requires plaintiffs to provide balance statements every 6 months and release garnishments within 21 days of full payment.

Takes effect only if House Bill No. 5558, which would establish the earned wage access services licensing framework, is also enacted into law.
