Amends Michigan's 1927 PA 372 firearms licensing law to update references to the Extreme Risk Protection Order Act (2023 PA 38, MCL 691.1801 to 691.1821) and correct internal cross-references throughout multiple sections.

Removes requirements for individuals to obtain licenses to "carry, possess, or transport" pistols, narrowing the licensing requirement to apply only to firearm purchases.

Eliminates provisions requiring non-residents to obtain Michigan licenses if licensed in their home state and removes the 30-day licensing requirement for armed forces members bringing firearms into the state.

Deletes exemptions for minors possessing pistols at target ranges under parental supervision and for individuals using pistols for target practice when the owner is present.
