Creates the Select Committee on Protecting Michigan Employees and Small Businesses in the Michigan House of Representatives

Committee will consist of 15 members appointed by the Speaker of the House: 9 Republicans and 6 Democrats

Speaker of the House will designate the chairperson, majority vice chairperson, and minority vice chairperson

Committee is tasked with considering legislation on Michigan's minimum wage (including tipped worker wages) and earned sick time policies

Committee has authority to favorably report any bill back to the full House
