Declares September 15 through October 15, 2025, as Hispanic Heritage Month in Michigan

Recognizes the celebration coincides with independence anniversaries for Chile, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, and Nicaragua

Notes Hispanic Heritage Month originated as Hispanic Heritage Week in 1968 under President Lyndon Johnson and was expanded to 30 days by President Ronald Reagan, enacted as Public Law 100-402 on August 17, 1988

Honors contributions of Hispanic and Latino Americans in areas including law, religion, agriculture, art, music, education, technology, architecture, cuisine, theater, and exploration

Acknowledges Michigan's Hispanic and Latin American residents for growing businesses, creating jobs, and contributing to the state's economy
