Multiple-occupancy facilities covered include restrooms, locker rooms, changing rooms, and shower rooms where students may be in various stages of undress

Exceptions allow individuals to enter opposite-sex facilities for custodial duties, maintenance, inspection, or medical assistance

School employees, parents, legal guardians, or authorized caregivers may enter opposite-sex facilities to assist students who need help

Temporary redesignation of a restroom for a different biological sex is permitted as an exception to the requirement
