Requires pet cemeteries to be at least 3 acres in size (unless established before the act's effective date) and maintain accurate records of all burial agreements, preneed arrangements, and endowed care deposits

Regulates pet crematoriums by requiring permits from the Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy and mandating detailed recordkeeping of each cremated pet for at least 1 year

Violations constitute a misdemeanor punishable by imprisonment of not less than 90 days, a fine of not less than $2,000, or both
